From a corporate attorney: what CTG is saying is that Joe doesn't negotiate well, & he's correct about that. There's nothing new under the sun when it comes to contract terms & ownership. Basically, we can draft a licensing agreement with whatever terms the talent is able to negotiate. If Joe wants to negotiate "new" terms (& I take it that Ak is meaning terms that are better than most talent gets) then he needs to have the leverage to do that. If he isn't getting the terms he wants, then either he's overestimating his value or he is failing to communicate it due to lack of negotiation skill. I think it's a bit of both.

I think both gentleman are absolutely amazing. There are a handful of people who can be as blunt as them both BUT i must say this about Joe. There’s something very bliss about Joe that i must truly appreciate and i think this has to do more with his creative side. Joe is a fucking walking contradiction and he knows that.
