Oh wow, what a walk down memory lane. I'm 59. The high school dances, the skating rink, The Civic Center dances. Man, we use to dance our young asses off to these songs, the pacman, the smurf, the prep was some the dance steps. No guns, no fighting just clean fun. We use to have so much fun. I miss those days. The world was a different place.

This is where pop locking began. Everyone wanted to be a B-Boy and Break dance on cardboard. These jams made the 80's so enjoyable and the when battling was art not a fight. These songs will never die.. Keep pumping them out.

No, remember. Pop locking actually started shortly BEFORE this stuff came out. This electric beat/funk style music made pop locking MORE POPULAR! Pop locking came out in the 1970's. The Lockers were the best known group representing pop locking but they were not the only ones. Detroit also had big time representation with groups like the Funkateers (my personal favorites) and others like the Dominators during this time. In New York City, you big groups like the Rock Steady crew and many others with actual Breaking and the Electric slide (also called the Mannequin). Damn, man. You guys are taking me back! I don't want to go back because I will not want to leave when I get there. LOL

Yes, Absolutely 💯 👏 pulling up to the club, skating ⛸️ rink or wherever bumping hard with an 8 pack in da back . 4 10's with 4 12's in da back set up with style. Feel like I just went from 50 to 15. And the beat goes on my friends...
