I know this was two years ago, but it's still relevant. I grew up watching Cash, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Goody (from Chester) and DJ Lightening Lee (From Wilmington) tear it up!!

I remember my first time hearing Cash Money live years ago, like 30 something years ago. 52nd and Chestnut st, at the YMCA in Philly. We heard the quick scratch on tape cassette, and was wondering how is he cutting that fast, it was new at the time, with Jeff and Cash Money. Good to see you bro... All in the risk...

Strong salute....Cash Money, Cosmic Kev, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Cheese, GrandMaster Flash, DJ Chief Rocker Jay-Walk", DJ Ozeem, DJ "Double "N" Noogie, DJ Joe Cooley... and so many more helped me really love the 1200's. The beautiful and handsome point is the 80's was the time when I battled and met many catz that went on to do big things. Keeping the Technics 1200's alive is a rights of passage. Salute to all of the Brothers from Coast to Coast. The blessing is even when one has lost a step or two(speaking for myself), your love for the skill increases in age for we know how precious the true essence of DJ'n is to our Culture. My first introduction to the Philly DJ style was first a DJ Cash Money Cassette, then a face to face with DJ Cosmic "Strictly Skills" Kev in the 80's at my High School New Brunswick, NJ. Forced me to step my game up to another level...Prior to those experiences, DJ "King Kut" Cheese was a couple of towns away in Plainfield, NJ making songs out of songs! "Tough", "Grand Groove aka Whew" and so much more. We had our OG DJ Jay Walk that held it down against Cheese but could never get the W. They share a mutual respect until this day. I try to host a Battle of the DJ's in my hometown to keep the Cut and Scratch alive but everyone there pretends that the art did not keep us rocking in the 80's on...so they forget and go far to the Club music...no knocking the club...but no love for us Brothers that held it down throughout the 80's-90's and even now...before they ever danced to the beat of some banging club/house music. As true Hip Hop and Old School DJ's...we do our part. Respect and salute to all that appreciate the type of skill represented in this video and many, many more... The true Cut and Scratch DJ has never left!!! They are versatile and can do it all...place them in an Old School scenario and you get good footage like this! Man these classic clips and current clips get me amped up on my lunch break...Salute to the Brother DJ Jaycee-"Nice"...I have watched a couple of videos with the DJ OG's in Philly...tons of Technic wisdom, turntable talent and hip hop skill... DJ GrandMaster KC

CASH MONEY IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS REAL HIP-HOP. Jaycee put it down like crazy. Him and cash brought back memories of the old school hip hop block parties. I can remember seeing Cash Money some years ago and he did a Graduation after party at J@A Catering on broad St in South Philly and he killed it. Big ups to him because I was able to leave out with this fine shorty with a Phat ass. Lol Big salute to Cash Money, DJ Rockinhood, DJ Roc Raida, DJ Jazzy Jeff the list goes on etc. Plus the original DJ Finesse that other light skin dude lolololololol. Philadelphia all day.

Just imagine if that rate charge. And Robin givens didn't come into Tyson's life. And he was on his game with the Buster Douglas fight. He would be far superior even closer to Ali as far as fights go But not as a superhuman like all he was but pretty darn close

@A10Jedi no sir. Been a Philly DJ fan since the beginning. Seen more turntablism than I care to elaborate. I just find it funny when random folks have the gall to just flame legends without context. I don't know if you're nice or what, but Cash Money has earned enough merit in his lifetime to do whatever he wants. It's obvious to anyone that knows deejaying that Cash is bs'n here and still could smash 90% of cats who claim to be nice. I'll just leave it at that fam.
