Great Interview. Clark Kent and Duke at the M.A.R.S. Club in NYC... We had so much fun at those parties... The energy of the crowd dancing to good music... Epic... A dance floor experience that continues to fuel me to this day. Thank you

@45:00 I wished more of our Hip-Hop heroes were like this. Clark was the definition of wanting to meet your heroes vs. some you've met and had a serious case of regret. R.I.P. Dj Clark Kent. I remembered hearing him once on WBLS and he was killing it!!!

When he says “music is the most important part of DJing” and disagrees with anyone who says it’s about the crowd, transitions, etc etc….i get what he means, but in my opinion, the music is part of the definition of DJing and it goes without saying. Meaning….if someone asked “what’s the most important thing about basketball?” and someone says teamwork, practice, etc….his answer would be “NO!! It’s about the basketball itself!! Without that, you have nothing!”

Theres history and there's hip hop history. It's all his story. Hip hop is a conglomerate of elements from other sources. The first Grandmaster was from Brooklyn, farragut projects. He might not be considered a hip hop pioneer but there's no hip hop without him.

Great podcast. Here are some tips that will help it be even greater in the future. The camera angles and lighting for this show need to be better. The lights are too blown out. The camera shots on the guest are too close, we don't need to see inside Clark's mouth. We never see the guest and the main host of the show in the same shot. Maybe you need a bigger location. Great content, good vibes. Keep up the good work.
