Hey Dj Jamin thats was an awesome gig! I have a question in maybe 10 months ago i asked you what speaker to buy and i cave in to buy the jbl srx815p so in December i bought one and it sounds amazing and i bought the original jbl cover but am using a behringer mixer and i tweaked some settings on the speaker via ethernet cable from a program on jbl website so should i upgrade the mixer? And i want to buy a srx 818sp sub but which is better the 818sp or the dual srx 828sp ? Or should i buy another speaker and then the sub? Thanks for answering :)

Lukas Lukas I’d say for sure get another speaker first. Then subs. I’ve done parties up to 150 people without any subs. 150 was pushing it a little, but these tops have a decent 15” woofer in them. In regards to the subs, it depends on A) how many people on average you’re playing for and B) how much space you have as far as transportation. It’s definitely a 2 person job to get it in and out of a vehicle if you don’t have a trailer with a ramp or a truck with a lift. I’d say if you’re just doing Mobile DJ stuff, one or 2 818’s is enough. I could go over all this in a video as well. I’m planning on doing a few production series videos soon so keep an eye out for those. Hope this helped a bit.

Dannys Tacos and DzDj Entertainment this is the same company. That’s my buddy Brad that I asked to MC that night. We were all out on shows that night. I’m still with 4 Sure and still with the same crew. We’re not all on the same parties every show. I have more gig logs I’m posting soon with those guys. Do not worry haha. I’ll be out of town for the next couple weeks for work, but videos will be coming.
