Great video! I didn’t know about anti-fatigue mats or SmartSwitch, awesome stuff/setup! 💯👏 Ages ago lighting was wired/heavy… lugging w/crates of records... whoa. You mentioned caching Tidal tracks… sounds wise, the only way to go. If I were using streaming, I’d cache, stay offline during an event to avoid streaming service bugs, auto-cache-clearing, or DRM outages. Tidal had a New Years outage affecting some DJs… I’m guessing, if those DJs had followed your steps, caching, staying offline, they would have been able to play through the outage, avoid any headaches. My initial comment was too long… forgive… your vid discussing latest tech enlightened… I even read up on Tidal... so thank you… and much success in 2025!

Thanks Shay!! Yes. I'm done with running any kind of power cords or dmx dongles for lights now. My next purchase (if I decide to purchase any more lights) will be the Both battery powered, wireless dmx moving heads.

Nice setup and I'm glad you are in at 810 Ranch!!!! i've been leaving my wash fx2s at home (just using for weddings) and bringing out my Chauvet 4 panel....alot quicker setup and tear down especially if it's just a basic birthday party....Plus the RF4s come with me as well.....

I hear you bro! Being a solo op, that set up and tear down at the end of the night can be exhausting after a long gig day. In 2025, I want to keep it as simple and fast as possible for myself.

Looked great. I run all both wireless lights. Will be adding the battery operated movers soon. I have the control one, but I use the soundswitch in my prime go and prime4. I too use the facade for clean look and quick setup. Control booths have a use, I agree just not on every event. I even use my rockville to go trust as a mixer stand for my prime go on small sound events it looks great. Ill use my white scrim with an uplight inside, they love the look. Keep em dancing!

That would not solve this problem. The internet in itself was not the problem. I was connected to their internet and able to access KZbin and other sites with zero issues. So I tried my hotspot on my phone. Same problem. So it is something about that "area" that Tidal does not like.

Thanks!! It's the Rockville 6 panel facade. I only use either 4 or 5 panels though. I use the JLab Audio Studio Headphones. They are around $20 at the store but around $13 if ordered online. I tried them as an emergency replacement pair in 2020 and loved them so much, I never looked back.

I was glad to receive her list because she is a 30 year old white girl and I don't normally do birthday parties for 30 year old white girls lol. She had a lot of songs on there that I NEVER play. It was very easy to put her play list together after she sent me the list of songs. So you know I was a big hit at her party because every song I played, SHE LOVED!

Thanks!! The answer is very simple. I still LOVEEEE my Rane One, however it's set up in my home studio and I use it for streaming live on TikTok. I don't be feeling like tearing it down to take out on gigs when my DDJ-1000 is already packed up and ready to go and also weighs a lot less so it's easier to transport around.

Set up looks great , and the venue is nice ...i always feel kind of bad when its only like 9 pm and more than half of the gust are already gone and only the birthday girl , her family and a few of her real friends are there , because they know they have the venue and DJ till 11 pm . and it takes effort and money to do something like this , i mean if you are invited at least be nice and stick around till like 10 pm ...just saying . but once again awesome job carnal..
