Such a legend! The kids today should study this man. He is the true real deal and has inspired some of my favorites (wicked crew). Thank you Harvey!

Is this the guy who mix it up the hit with joy Salinas in 1992? Greetings from Colombia South America.

Don't remember a Virgin Records in the 80s in Cambridge. But Andy's on Mill Road first, I think, and then next to the Grafton Centre.

The far out German tune is probably KRAAN, and if it isn’t I bet someone from the band will know the band. If you like this check out kraan- let it out, kraan- Andy nogger

in the same eschelon as frankie knuckles, alex from tokyo, levan, dj claudio cocculuto... new york btw is still very much segregated, gentrificated etc…also, the younger generation does not know, but harvey is absolutely right @ 15:30, you didn't go out in NYC or in the US or anywhere else for that matter during those times to hear a specific DJ (i would add well into the late 90s even tho DJs were becoming the focal point…particularly at raves)...., but you STILL went out to experience the sound and atmosphere of the club. DJ culture did not exist back then, and it wasn't about the dj, it was about the Club Culture or even Rave Culture. we know this because back then people communed with the music FIRST and then each other and pretty much nothing else and certainly not mobil devices because they didnt yet exist, for the masses anyway. Again 35:58, correct. Clubs are no longer known for their Name, but rather as event location for promoters. This implicitly detracts from the music.
