This is just progressive and melodic house. It's just more on the heavier tone side. If you like this I'd recommend the Balkan connection label. I play this stuff on my mixcloud page. Little bit of a miss label on the genre being played but great set! DJ Hell has been in the game for as long as I can remember.

Right I’m 45 years old and I’ve attended more events and clubs than I care to remember. Been over the world and seen all the big names since the 80s..... this ain’t “dark” techno..... too many high frequencies. I’m convinced MixMag employee millennials now who don’t have a fucking clue. Their idea of a good club night includes a Craig David remix and a drive home by 11pm in their white A Class Merc because the club has ran out of Blueberry flavoured Gin.

@edemaximclub I'd entirely disagree with that, but that's primarily because I mixed dnb for years and I find mixing with the snare sounds (so midrange) much more intuitive, with the bass response just kind of supporting that sound. What I meant moreso is, dropping big $ on a DJ setup involves good quality DJ headphones, and I challenge anyone to describe beats in this fashion.
