Japans turtable ninja... one of the best djs of all time
My hero. In my opinion the Japanese turntablist scene doesn't get enough attention.

Cameron Ahmad...turntablism, in it's purity doesn't get enough attention. The quasi-DJ loading tracks off his MacBook for the masses gets the attention . This is for the purists, people who are fans of true DJ's know who is who, and what is what.
In a class of its own !! next level shit. I fully appreciate his creativity. Salute!!!

its all about skills....AN DJ KENTARO IS LEGEND IN DOING SKILLS ON TURNTABLES
BlercStudio jfb LOL dude im from same area as JFB i go to battle jams regular, and he does have talent, but no where near Kentaro. Miles apart. JFB uses his own premade records to sound like he is doing far more than he usually is but he does have talent and won awards. Kentaro is light years ahead of him tho

@@johnfry8286 no offense to JFB because he is sick.....but his routines can be very similar to each other in ways, same with Richie ruff tone, it's like they have developed a formula in their heads for a routine that ends up being repeated in each routine
@johnfry82865 жыл бұрын
I agree. I saw the guy play regularly one summer/winter. JFB has crazy skills but its just kinda like most routines. Not in the Kentaro 'innovator' category imo Even watching the 89 DMC (and a few other years after) recently I realised shits got to the point where the level of innovation just aint the same. Them guys had shit gear but the best Djs from that era of early turntablism lived and breathed their routines and were really trying out there shit. When u see Sinbad, Stevie D, Q bert etc u realise few have gone up levels like Kentaro/Craze/Fresherthans. Richie makes sick tools and got mad skills like JFB but the arts kinda lost some of its soul recently ...or im just getting old LOL

So was the audio recorder not fully plugged in or is this going soley off the audio recording from the camera?
@BranoMacko6 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing but I guess it could be due to copyright - this way its probably harder for the algorithm to pick up on the songs. But thats just my guess.

Was about to leave at around 3:20 ish, and wondering why so many are praising, but then as i continue watching, i couldnt... and start to understand what the hell was it about.

Yup, right when he starts to show his creativity and style. The use of different RPMs is a great example of how kentaro uses the turntables as an instrument. Check his other sets, especially the finals. He’s incredible.
