This is the art of found object hip-hop crafting at it's finest, and it could only come to exist with the combination of the people who contributed to it and the way they worked together. The rhymes, the arrangement, and the way the raw, gritty samples are all so simply and eloquently combined is what makes it. It's like a hip-hop track for hip-hop producers, where you can hear the obvious and sometimes rudimentary techniques, but they work perfectly. At the same time, it's also a time machine that takes you to the past, not because it sounds dated, but because it sounds utterly vintage. Absolute brilliance.
