Little Big Planet. I will cry for the memories of what this song and game did for me and my consciousness. Thank you Media Molecule for transporting me to a whole other realm. No other little big planet game or any game for that matter has had for me 0.1% of the: 1) Impact to the player 2) Atmosphere 3) Imagination ...this song by DJ Krush in the game was the major inspiration for my having invested 120 hrs. to design, build and test my own LBP community level. I love this melody.

This reminds me of a time I went on a hike by some park by my first house I got after high school, there was snow on the ground from a blizzard that happened the night before, and it was foggy as to where you could only see about five or six feet in front of me. While I was walking it was almost completely silent beside the some leafs and branches on the trail cracking and crunching under my boots, I remember it felt so peaceful yet it had a creepy aesthetics to the surroundings as I thought about what could be hidden by the fog.

I feel you dude. The picture was very normal but gave a Creepy / Disturbing vibe and the thought of "I feel like something isn't right." And with the way *Song 2* is made makes it Creepier. As is portrayed in LBP in The Islands. But is Opposed too outside of that and in a Comforting Area or some place well lit. That Still-Image made me think "Is there something OUTSIDE of the view we have. Or maybe this is a Video that has Song 2 over the video's audio. Why does the thought of something is not right... Scary and is Scaring me..." And I DON'T get scared anymore. It is the thought of "Might there something more to this (Still-Image) that we which not know?" that scares us humans.

I heard this song way before LBP came out. Back in '05. Directv's 'Sounds of the Seasons taught me about DJ Krush. As well as Funki Porcini, DJ Shadow, Mr. Scruff, etc. :)

It’s been 10 years since i first started playing little big planet, i was 4 years old. I remember as a kid playing this game every day alone or with my dad, i’d usually come home from kindergarten and turn on the ps3 all on my own and i’d be playing it everyday. What’s weird is that it took me 3 years to complete the storyline up til i was 7 years old. This song reminds me of those times, i’m 14 years old now. 14 years might seem little but to me it’s all i’ve known all my life. And the atmosphere during my childhood was so retro. I remember one thing that my teacher once told me during 1nd year in middle school, she said “ Most people later in life wish to go back in time to when they were kids “ and me being a kid i couldn’t really understand why anyone would wanna be a kid again. Well now i do, and if only it were possible.. i’d be happy.

I just discvover this gem in 2024 thanks to perusing the OST of Tokyo Vice Season 1. And this track reminds me of a somewhat underrated track from the anime Samurai Champloo (with great collaboration from the late Nunjabes) which is called (or so the video is titled) "Lost Nunjabes - Brothel Love". And one of those short sequences in the anime that really sticks with you, not only because the melancholic music playing but also the direction and the narrative impact. If you like this piece, check that out. They have similar vibes.
