DJ Nicholas Talks Not Being Religious and Defends His Controversial Shotta Man Single

As far as the masses know our guest in this segment is well established as a Gospel - Dancehall artiste but based on his latest project some may be wondering if he, real name Nicholas Eccleston has dropped Gospel out of his portfolio; wait till you see and hear his latest project, DJ Nicholas is who we are talking about right now, right here on our stage.

Being a secular dancehall artist who loved music, when I gave my life to Jesus Christ it was hard for me to abort that genre of music. That was all I knew and I could relate to it, therefore I listened to alot of DJ Nicholas songs along with other gospel dancehall artists. I used to get alot of weird dreams after being saved though. Mainly dreams about a host of people trying to kill me, chasing me for miles and I would run each time in fear, trying to get away from them. Sometimes it was one person but that person felt like a army of people chasing me. I remembered "back to the owner" being a hit song at the time and also one of my most played track while at work or home. One night while listening to the song I felt different. I felt like a warfare presence came over me. It's almost like the words came alive in my spirit. Anyhow I eventually fell asleep and I experienced the same dream I kept having for weeks; nights after nights which was people trying to kill me, chasing me in rage. This time though I didn't run. I was not fearful. I found myself saying " back to the owner! Back to the owner! " with my left hand stretched out. They all began to scream while melting. Presently, that's over 10 years now and I can honestly say from that night i never had the dream again. You are truly a blessing! Not just to me but many! some are quick to focus on the beat or the genre of music having the wrong perspective but Its about the spirit of God behind the voice and the anointing that breaks every yoke.

Beautiful. I like his music. I am 65 an African American woman. Christian first in a Baptist church. Glad he is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in his own way. Yes our lifestyle is what God sees in us. And using Bible verses can help anyone. To say have a relationship with God is true. Knowing God is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. God is everywhere. Sees everything that happens on Earth. To name fornication glad. That even if when we fall into sin, we can be forgiven. His music can be a witness to the unsaved all around the world. Especially since the Internet is world wide. May reach those who are on line.God bless him as he promotes marriage and children. This interview can be seen in two ways: 1. The interviewer is doing a good job asking all the good hard questions so that Nicholas can clarify himself properly 2. The interviewer is asking controversial questions and repeating the same questions over and over (even when they have been answered already) in order to get Nicholas to say something wrong or controversial. Whatever the case, DJ Nicholas has answered all the questions properly...wow! Acts 4:12 - there is no other name given to men by which we must be saved, not Sellasie, not Buddha, not Muhammad's god, nothing... except for Jesus Christ, the holy one of Israel, the KING of kings and the LORD of lords!

At first look of the video I do admit I kinda was hesitant cause it did not come across as a dancehall video wherefore let's face it; how would people dressed in black and a coffin being carried come off as any thing but sad and dreary. It was kind of spooky and I do not like watching anything that deals with burials, but in knowing how he is and in listening to his music, I gave it a chance cause he always has a message behind and in his songs trying to reach out to someone. I would say the sinner man but they are the church folk also; fake and unreal in the heart and act like there is a red tape over their mouth when they say something they have to be ashamed of Christ and forsake his word and all he stands for. So he is saying that the church is not walking in sincerity and truth and if he is not then I am for it is true; they are mouth warriors he is trying to be real.
