This is so edgy, yet so dope at the same time 🔥🔥🔥. I love the raw and evil sound. If you listen closely, the same drum pattern would be sampled in Dem Franchize Boyz's "White Tee" (2003) and Soulja Boy's "Bapes" (2007). So dudes have been sampling Paul's stuff without giving credit way before mumble rap and Phonk were a thing.
@realspeedghxst Жыл бұрын
Same can be said about Paul who sampled the shit out of other producers, and he sampled 2 Thick 20 or 30 times and didn't give credits to Zirk and btw 2 Thick has sample from Everlasting Bass

@@realspeedghxst true, but at least Paul made dope music. DFB and Soulja Boy? Not so much.... Also Zirk acknowledged that he sampled other songs.

@@dtxspeaks268 that's true Paul was/is light years ahead of other producers, his beats sound so modern and futuristic and hearing them today from a quality tape rip and fan made remasters, sometimes makes me wonder if it was really made 30 years ago especially the Solo Tape aka Lord Of Terror (through bootlegging), and yeah I'm a new gen from '03 and I got into the Memphis scene like last year and I'm still digging through lots of artists and their tapes, peace mane Ps: if you want to hear the Solo Tape in great quality from a genuine tape here's the link kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWi5dJ9rdt6lm6s
