DJ Paul don't sugar coat nothing. He's being real and letting people know the true in's and out's of the music business. It's not for everyone but if you truely want something you have to work your ass off to get it.

man i still have all my cassettes i made my demos on i was doing the same thing as him but a little later about 1999, alot of people did all around the world who couldnt afford a real studio. i use to take a hand held tape recorder and a boombox with 2 tape decks. i would use the 2 tape decks to record a sample, then record that same sample like 100 times lol it took forever but then id have a instrumental since nobody really had computers yet. (about 3 years later i got a 300mhz computer which i would again do the same thing paul did, used samples, and then started doing my own beats etc.) so before that with the boombox id play the instrumental on my boombox and record into the hand held voice recorder and thats how i did my demos and got popular round the neighborhood. about 6 years later i did concerts for 7 years. i did music from around 2001 to 2012 underground just opening for every famous person who came through the city. i met crunchy and dj paul last year, their some cool dudes i gave them some masks. in 2012 i got tinnitus from working on music to much and had to take a break. the main club of our city ended up getting tore down for a college to expand and i got sick with breathing issues and i just never returned. i think i woulda did alot better if i actually wasnt poor lol. at the time i got popular was right before myspace came, i didnt have the proper money to manufacture what i needed or invest and there was a small transition period when people went from free webpages to myspace where people were buying underground cd's alot online. after that the internet pretty much destroyed anyway to make money off music, i coulda sold the cassettes but since i just had started i didnt think they were good enough and just gave them out and tons of people dubbed them. i still did alright though. i got a wall full of memories

Is baffles me that growing up in Seattle I was only about 6 months behind these guys listening to their work as it came out being able to buy it at the shops and to know that they were independently pushing about mystic stylez the end all the greats literally a month or two after the original release date all the way up in the outskirts of Seattle Washington

@kingdarius5ifty Lord Infamous wasn't a devil worshiper. None of them were. Lord Infamous just came up with the idea to rap about the devil because according to a interview from like 2008 he said "what is worse than a gangsta? A devil worshiper". He wanted to be harder than everyone else. Juicy J even said on a Interlude from his tape "Vol.9MM:It's On" "For people who say Triple Six Mafia devil worshipers: you wrong ma nigg. You are".

"(Dj Paul) I'm on a cross Lucifer please cut me free (cut me free) I'll draw your portrait if you pull these nails out my feet (nails out my feet) My cross turns upside down And finally I'm loose I flip the land and released the others who sinned, tha Scarecrow and the Juice I look to the sky and all I could say was "Finally it's on again" No lord could stop us now Cause the demons reborn again" thats some of his verse. sounds pretty "crunk" huh? You failed. in with the old, out with the new.

@ac1dchr15t From my understanding Paul and Juicy weren't paying their artist right. What baffles me about this though is the fact that Lil Wyte is still there? It's kinda hard to go back with somebody especially when/if they've screwed you out of money. Anyway much love to 3-6 I grew up on that shit

@BenPorter90412 жыл бұрын
and i prefer "devil shyt" over lame shit. lord infamous is still satanic, koopsta too. Dj paul is too, just go check out Dj pauls solo album with lord infamous that was released a year ago.lil wyte is getting into it. him and lord infamous dropped a song "187 invitation" a remake from the classic. three 6 mafia chose money over originality.
