I have developed a strong affinity for your music and naturally for you DJ Poolboi. It speaks to me and makes me feel the same way as if I'm listening to Claire De Lune, revealing my true feelings and calling upon what I deeply want in life. I crave a deeper relationship with my planet of birth, and it's numerous inhabitants. I crave understanding and acceptance. I want to feel the wonder that technology and industrialization has stripped from the world. I dream about it all the time but I always wake up. Sometimes, I just want to dream forever. I understand that these are not the priorities of our race and that the general population has been educated to view the world competitively, making everyone else an opposition in some way or another. I understand that the people in power around the world, that handful of rich/powerful individuals who direct our society and work forces, usually tend to make decisions with no consideration for the planet or the many living beings that inhabit it. It's obviously all about money, power, and control. I understand the power of money, and when I think about it, it scares me how money can make people do just about anything without any thought to the effects of their actions. I understand that I will probably die unfulfilled or prematurely due to the current state of the world right now, but as a self-proclaimed Taoist, I'm okay with that. I am sorry if I'm being a huge downer if you read this far, I just like to vent on the internet. All of that won't matter once I'm dead though, It only matters because I live to experience and feel the life I possess. It all matters right now but it probably only matters to the living. So when I listen to your music, I feel hope, to put it plain and simple. I feel hopeful for the possibilities ahead and that hope really helps when I'm trying to live a life in a depressing reality.
