I can't tell you what it means to have these sets to enjoy during this time. I'm in southeastern Louisiana (US) and it is brutal here. Plus our family just endures the loss of a loved one who we were not able to properly lay to rest. It has been a trying time, to say the least. Navigating this with an extremely anxious 11 year old daughter and an incredibly rambunctious 5 year old daughter. A 5 year old little girl that loves school, her teachers, her friends, her routine and it has all been undone. Both of which have asthma. That plus the unexpected loss of their papaw a little over a week ago and no income for several weeks now. I'm not sure there is a word to express exactly how heavy of a weight it is, but its intense. To have these sets, not just the beats, but the connecting while you're mixing, it helps. The tracks bring me back to much more care free times. Times when the world didn't seem so heavy...or maybe the weight of the world gets heavier when you have kids? Who knows? I guess now I'm rambling. I guess my point is to just thank you. Thank you for the head nods, thanks for the beats that bring back some of the best years of my life with some of the greatest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for reaching out in this fashion to spead some love, hope and togetherness. Lord knows now we need it most of all. 🥰🌏☮
