Got the same problem with Google Drive ending up find out that every song that was opened for any reason in the past was correct but if exemple in my playlist some of the songs was never open directly in my computer before those song won't be present or would do a '' corrupt data'' type of error, after downloading all my playlist into my computer instead of sync with my drive ....no more problem

So do you have a copy in the google drive that just updates from your computer to google drive? I think that might be the move as well.

Hey man, great video! I have idea of using mobile app for purpose of recording my set - in a way of connecting my phone to mixer instead of actually loading tracks from the my phone to CDJs. Do you think that could work? I think it would be easier to bring spare phone than whole laptop, please let me know if you tried that! Thanks and keep up the great work!

Thanks for watching! In terms of recording your set there is a pioneer dj app that you can use to record sets with allot of the 900 series mixers. With other apps you may need a mobile interface. Currently as it stands the Rekordbox DJ app doesn't allow you to record into it. Hopefully we see an update on the future that could unlock that feature it would be super helpful. If I find anything that might fit this REC area for mobile I will definitely make another video about it✨🫡👍

Thanks for sharing irl experiences I’m looking forward to a time when we can use ipads seamlessly, using a laptop is so clunky to me. It’s wild there isn’t more support or compatibility for it

Man SSD is the only way to go with Rekordbox I’m finding out it’s light speed. Theres a few solid ones on Amazon this one my friend uses: amzn.to/3UghcCo and I’ve been using one of these www.amazon.com/dp/B0874XN4D8/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_7AGB3VDNCY6RDAFXYT60?linkCode=ml2&tag=musicgearmond-20 hopefully that helps but pretty much anything SSD that can be formatted on your laptop should be fine. I fit my entire library on that drive.

@@MusicGearMondays oh snap! You use a whole ass external SSD!, I didn't know decks could use them. I actually bought another flash after watching this video with 400mbps write speeds hoping it was quicker but copying my library took over a day 🫥which was slower than my older ones. You think all decks support high speed flash sticks? Like most venues here got the Nexus 2k / 900

@@BenCaesar@BenCaesar Yeah, the Nexus and Nexus 2 support it for sure. I use mine on RX3, 2000 Nexus and Nexus 2, as well as the XZ weekly, so it's been tested. Just make sure to format it, and it will be a lot faster. I have one formatted in an extended journal, and it's been working on all of them so as long as the firmware on the hardware is at its latest version it's good to go. I bought a Samsung extreme pro thumbdrive and it was so slow that's what made me make the switch to the T7.
