The nuts weren't the problem :) The one I had apparently needed sharpened out of the box. It kept having issues dicing mushrooms. The would get stuck in the little zig-zags and need to be pried out at risk to my fingertips. If I have to pre-dice it it's not worth slap-chopping ;)
