I reached out to Jake once through his job. Without knowing me, without asking for anything he listened to me, replied a couple of times and just showed how genuine and caring he is. I will forever be grateful for this music. I am by no means ok, but thanks to music like this, I can feel less alone and keep pushing on. Thank you for reacting to this, I guarantee you will enjoy much more of their music. I recommend “Would Anyone Care” and “Let it Burn”.

“How many nights have you waited for someone to care” every night. Just recently survived a second attempt on my own life in the span of two months and I’m scared to burden my friends and family with my issues. You mentioned tattoos, one of my favorite CS songs is Tattoos. Thank you for reacting to Citizen Soldier and seeing how important Jake's words are. I suggest them to reactors often trying to spread the love. All CS songs are deep, all videos show lyrics, and Jakes voice can make you cry. (He has that natural cry in his voice, like Daughtry). They have so many great songs to explore. Bedroom Ceiling seems to the one that is the most about everyman. I hear people say the songs are pro-suicide, but they are not really listening. With Bedroom Ceiling, I think everyone can personally relate it to themselves.

Citizen Soldier is amazing. There are two bands I listen to whenever I need some ways to keep my head above the surface: Citizen Soldier and Linkin Park. I gotta tell you, the tears have been running down my cheeks throughout this entire video. It's the very impact this song always has on me, no matter how many times I hear it.
