Here is a practice track of Djagbe (Yes, I know, it says 10-minutes, but it's only 9 minutes. I must have gotten impatient while waiting). It includes two djembe parts and three dundun parts. The rhythm originally from Guinea, West Africa. You can learn the parts included here directly from master drummer Fara Tolno's Rhythm Reference Project (www.rhythmrefer...) and Djembe Guru (www.djembeguru...). If you like what I'm doing, you'll love what he's doing!
That being said, you can use other parts learned elsewhere. There are lots of different ways to arrange Djagbe.
I did this track and many more in response to the social isolation related to COVID-19. I had no one to drum with, and I figured others were in the same situation. You’ll find lots of other practice tracks on my KZbin channel.
Enjoy!
