Wondering how he owns every reggae song ever made and is able to cut new records of them. Amazing

I'm using software called Traktor to play digital files using this clear "control vinyl" that tell the software where in the time of the song the needle is at.

@@djalgoriddim Thank you. The encyclopedic nature of your sessions is incredible. I desperately want a seven inch collection again. Had all of them stolen years ago. The MK1200s I had were very sweet. I just want to hear that real sound, not the computer speaker sound, again. It's one of my goals.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST MIX. Just like The IMMORTAL GEMINI use to do it back in the days with Welton and Ringo.

How did you get into reggae to this extent??! Its really intriguing 😊
@djalgoriddim4 жыл бұрын
Started off listening to conscious hip hop in middle school, and eventually had a radio show for about 20 years at WHPK in Chicago.

Wow that's pretty cool! So your Radio station saw the likes of Kanye and Common??! I've never known anyone from your heritage to have such an appreciation of reggae music like this. You've taught me a thing or 2 this evening I must say! I was looking for Joy in the morning track. I grew up hearing my parents play this beautiful track I'm sure the vinyl is still somewhere...then through the comments I realised there was an original by Gaylads...looked for it....then I found your KZbin channel! Great job......watching your quality mixing skills brought me back to my youth and a Jah Shaka event in Brixton London that my mum took me too!

Yep! They had some serious hip hop shows. I always did the reggae show on Friday afternoons. Glad you're enjoying the mixes
