Would of been cool if he stayed till episode 3 and fought Obi-Wan with grievous, but either way wouldn't matter because after the geonosis fight Jango would of just taken his money and left. Edit: actually I think it would be cool to see him fight with Anakin when he went to the Mustafar system to wipe out the remaining separatists leaders. Or what if when the empire was formed jango would train boba fett, and then both of them serve vader and fight with Luke.

To be honest I think most of TBOBF's problems came from the fact that it was produced by Robert Rodriguez. Looking at Andor, Lucasfilm CAN produce more well made and mature media. They just need to find a good director.

Boba Fett was cool but he wasn’t expected to be cool. He was just supposed to die and be a minor villain. But he was well received that LucasFilm introduced Jango Fett and gave him more screentime than Boba.
