Which is more important to you do you think, the music or the sound quality?

Very good question! It’s difficult to say definitively but if I had to choose I would say the music. Just as an example today I’m home doing some spring cleaning and I’m listening to music on some questionable Bluetooth speakers. The mediocre sound quality is not enough for me to turn the music off, but I do find myself not 100% satisfied. I even played with the equalizer on my music app to find the best mix but just stuck with flat. I will also listen to my older scratchy records despite the numerous pops and clicks. I still play old cassettes occasionally as well. It does bother me some but there’s a certain amount of nostalgia and enjoyment out of just listening to music I love even if I know it could sound better. Sometimes I even choose to stream music even if I own it on vinyl just to hear it cleaner. I’ve also found that some modern vinyl record mixes just sound awful compared to the digital versions, but I will still listen if I love the music.
