Welcome to Navarre Dan. That ramp can be a b*tch on the southern most lane when covered in sand - sucks the trailer tires in and can be almost impossible to pull a bigger boat out even with 4WD. Good reason to carry a tow strap!

we stopped using this ramp bcuz so many would just tie up their boats and leave it in the way! don't understand why people don't do what me and my hubby do, he backs boat in, I drive boat off trailer and then go pick him up after he parks truck. On the way back, I drop hubby off on dock and move away from ramp and wait while he gets trailer then I drive boat on trailer. There...no being in the way of other boaters!

That’s exactly how it’s done. Only tie off if you’ve got kids to unload and the elderly. Orrrrr if your alone, other than that. Drop and Go

You missed the idiot destroying his jet ski at 0:21. Never motor onto the beach. That guy filled his engine with sand. I recommend never beaching a ski at all. Get off and pull it into the beach. Don't people understand that sand paper is made of sand! Beaching your skis or your boats will destroy the hulls over time.

@@TheBigDanShow I looked up that location and you really don't have any options looking at the ramps like you typically do. I did notice that there are those concrete piles. Is there anyway to attach the camera mount to the end one where you are at and still be able to swivel? Would give you a secure base that does not move with water motion.

I kind of like this place. More people and up close so we can see what's going on better. And the dock moving don't bother me either. I don't get sea sick. I have been out when the boat was above the water one sec and 10 ft below it the next all day long just up and down.

Mannn, I dont get all these ski owners who don't realize you only need about 40 maybe 50 percent of your bunks on the water. Power and on and let friction do its thing to hold them in place. I know its true for all trailers, but I have skis so I'm gonna rag on them only.

That officer looks like Mr. Jeff I met over at Liza Jackson Park boat ramp in Fort Walton Beach, FL. he was out with his father-in-law, I believe, in his personal vessel.... they got chased off of the dog islands south of Hurlburt field AFB..... waiting a storm out.... but super cool, down to earth gentlemen. a credit to the uniform & law enforcement...
