We speak to many people and was surprised to see that no Energy from Waste processing is going on.
The manager comes out to have a word but that didn't go too well.

The solo stuff is good but as soon as PJ is there he becomes a dick with poor attitude and a totally different tone to videos. DJ is likely not aware that his attitude changes with other auditors but the viewer is aware because we watch most of his stuff that is solo.

I lived in a city in Texas some years ago which did have a giant facility where city residents could drop off old tires, batteries, paint, building materials and even brush from clipping their bushes and trees. A super service much appreciated by the residents. All that was needed to access the site was a utility bill proving residence.

The big metal cylinder is called a Trommel , (edit) it rotates horizontally) its used to seperate smaller bits from bigger bits , Gold miners use then alot to seperate smaller gold baring material from the big waste rocks . Great job and much love from USA.Liked the vid as always mate.

Why didn't you just leave and record from the outside like you usually do? I didn't think the manager was at all bad. You could tell he was careful in what he was saying to you, likely in case he got his ass kicked from higher management for what ever reason. DJ, I've visited a couple of their sites (Though not this one) in the GM area, under previous owners, and I've also worked with a couple of blokes who have worked on these sites. I'm obviously no expert but my understanding of their claim of waste to energy is not only collection and processing of gas (They used to have skips on these sites marked up 'Burnable waste' which are now marked up 'Waste to energy') If the stuff I've been told is correct, this means that this material will be burnt to raise steam in a boiler, and the steam drives turbines which produce electricity (Which is normal in gas, coal and nuclear power stations). If this is correct, waste to energy is still a valid claim I think, so it doesn't have to be reclaimed/processed gas only. That said, If that's right, You would think the herbert that came out would have known that and told you so. Feel free to correct me if I'm talking bollox though people.

Waste when its burnt has the metals seperated and recylcled, The ash then goes back into things like tarmac etc aswell as making energy, where you are may just be a transfer station. Never been to there site.
