Doesn't only happen to DJ. I was stopped by two police and a couple of goons, probably special branch, for 25 minutes and the policeman, who ambushed me from behind and was hanging onto my shoulder... yes really!.... didn't have a clue about drone law. I had to help him out by pointing him to the URL of the Civil Aviation Authority website, and even then he got it wrong, quoting the rules for large drones and not the 249 Gram drone I was flying. Education, education... and education! Eventually they realised they were in the wrong and I went on my way to fly over another site of interest to me. I now carry a page from the CAA's drone rules with the rules for my sub 250Gram drone highlighted for the benefit of 'Karens' and the police.
