Today we come across a Concrete Mixer Lorry which has tipped over.
We speak to the Police and the Mincrete staff and it soon becomes apparent that we are not very welcome. (WARNING - THE F WORD IS HEARD A FEW TIMES ON THIS ONE)
We make out observations throughout the recovery and we finally see the vehicle pull back onto its wheels.
Due to it being a slow moving situation, I decided to go Live for the first time on the Facebook Page - / djaudits
If you are not following that page then do head over and press the follow button and be notified when we go live on scene next time.
Please don't give Mincrete any bad reviews for this one, this type of accident could have been caused by many factors combined and the behaviour of the aggressive guy was simply due to him having a very bad day.
Enjoy!

DJ I think you were fine. Excited to see something new and clearly interested. The complaints about you giving your own analysis are a mystery to me. You're talking is essentially a verbal recap of what's going through my head. Nowhere did I get the sense that you were saying 'this is what happened' -- you asked questions and seemed open to understanding what occurred, you're just talking outloud as you process through it -- which is fairly normal for your channel. I think you (like myself) thought that the incident possibly could have occurred by an intoxicated driver, hence the questioning of the police and not necessarily taking the drivers version of events as the ground truth. People seem really offended about thinking that is a possibility. I can't figure why. You're not saying the driver is a bad person, you're simply going with a logical and real possibility. I was pretty frustrated with how disengage the police were as well - they seem to think their job is to stand around, plenty there that could have been don

@@harrymonk6565 You know the police did their job? Without oversight and questioning people will inevitably slack. If the oversight doesn't come from the chain of command then it should come from the public. If they did nothing wrong why wouldn't they answer? That's always the reason they give. The idea of just blindly accepting authority and that those with powers are properly doing their job is naive. If you want to just go about your day ignoring what is happening - feel free! Auditors and journalist are out there to challenge and dig a little to get to the truth. Sometimes it's messy and it may not always be accurate, but if people can't handle being challenged on the job they're just too fragile to be doing that position.

Police seem to have no common sense anymore, and think nothing about sensibly clearing and moving traffic on when a road is blocked, motorways or wherever. It's almost a given they stand around ineffectually. Always wondered if they were told to be as awkward as possible...I've even had to shout at a gormless policewoman once who hadn't a clue and was even trying to motion cars away around an RTC but to a totally unsuitable side road including busses linking to a mainline railway station. Made me so mad. I'm used to Polizei in Germany who come and evaluate and clear the scene quickly including sweeping up the broken glass and mess. Here they spend hours standing around with not the first concept of incommoding people trying to get to work, appts, or airports.

I think on this one you are being a bit of a burk. The guy is stressed enough without some nosey guy filming 🎥 😒 it. Despite what people think the new privacy laws don't make it legal for you to post things containing people on Facebook in the UK. You must gen up on the latest laws. Just be careful mate you can be sued. Plus people always say they can record what they like in a public place when in fact you can't record people without their permission especially if you are going to put it online. In this case you are just adding to an already fraught and difficult situation. Also perhaps your approach could be more helpful, then they might be more amenable to your presence. It's good to publish these things, but again I have to say your approach was not good. And saying that swearing is a public order offence, yep that's true and certainly you should never be sworn at. But again please take care as your filming , as it contains people and a company name, is subject to privacy laws. The public are allowed certain rights when out in public. The reporter is arrogant and bought bad vibes to an already fraught. The reporter says he's minding his own business - that's certainly not true. I say this to help you as your approach rubbed people up the wrong way. You would get much more cooperation and insights if you try to be more sympathetic. Please think about it. Then your career will be much easier . I'm not sitting on any high ground I'm telling you what people are like in stressful situations - that's reality. Really in astounded by your naivety and approach. I'm sure you will have a much more fruitful career and your survivability will be greater if you change your approach 😉.

I'm thinking that it depends what you put online, perhaps it's only slanderous or libellous stuff that shouldn't be online. You could be right I guess if it's something that actually happens. We should look at privacy laws as a person or people do now have privacy rights especially stuff that's online. It would be interesting to find out.

@@Photon_Collector well no that's not what the laws on privacy say. Every UK citizen is allowed a certain amount of privacy even out of thier houses/flats/residential areas and out in public. Filming people is different for each circumstance so the law does actually operate at different levels as regards privacy..... Try and find out properly please I would be genuinely interested in what you find. I'm also interested to know how you know about privacy etc. I work in IT and have a responsibility for privacy and gpdr etc. Whilst it's not covering privacy outside, there are a few bits where privacy online is covered if a person is working whilst in a public place, so it meant that I also read 📚 about the wider privacy laws. Absolutely. The reason they ask amicable questions is to establish if you have committed a crime, if you intend to commit a crime, and if you have the legal concept of Mens Rea. Also note the old PACE caution, "Anything you say may be taken down and used against you" . This rather gave the game away, so they changed it, because what it DOESNT say is "anything you say may be used in your defence", because its never true. The police will never supply you information you can use in your defence, and nothing you say to the police will be of any use to you in court.

Loved the videos but this is a bad choice mate I have been in the same place as him and you are frightened and worried and thanking f**k no one is hurt and your brain is doing a 100 MPH thinking did I do something wrong and the last thing needed is a guy and a camera unqualified to sort out whats gone wrong. I mean even the police was on his side mate . I do understand the guys anger .

With a concrete truck , at least here in Australia, the barrel rotates in a clockwise direction and the climb on the mix depends on the slump. Slump between 10-35mm we call “roll over slump”. So normally left hand turns are the most problematic.

I love it how little 'tough' guy gave it the "if it wasn't for the police...blah, blah, blah" and yet long after the police had gone where was his bottle then?????

I think that the style of coverage is more akin to gossip columns than any kind of journalism. The presenter is annoying not because he asks pertinent questions but because he comes across as a self important horsefly who unnecessarily reminds his “targets” that he’s live and over 500 people are watching. Nothing to see here folks.

presenter is a bit strong lol... "knobjocky with no job and plenty of time on their hands" is a better term.

Auditors are not Independant journos. I'm all for filming in public but can I ask what stories are actually being covered? None, there's no social responsibility being propagated by most of these auditors. I think it's kind of ridiculous that some auditors include the word 'news' in their channel name when they are nothing of the sort.

That would´ve been all forbidden in Austria. You are not allowed to film people in public, unless everybody grants you permission to release it.
