Had mine for about 8 months now. 25-30 gigs so far and no problems. Built solid and the jogs are better than anything in that price range. Really dense and robust but slide super easy.

I've used Numark for all my live gigs and it's never let me down. It's sturdy. Has XLR outputs, I've hooked up 2 turntables, with an additional speaker system thru RCA jacks. My QSC's have the power and this board sends the signal.The only reason I'm checking out another controller is because mine is 5 years old. I like that the mic jack (XLR) is on the side panel of the NS6II as a mic cord can drag over the platters. Looking forward to this purchase!

I've had mine since release and I've used the DDJ range also, this blows them away... proper rugged, great build and organic for me.. better than NS7 range too...

Don't forget the very good price to features ration. Pioneer just gives mediocre set of features with cut throat prices.

I loved my 4trak. I retired it when I got my S8. I would pick up a 4trak ii if it came out but I doubt.

Master Ninja I had entirely forgotten about the 4trak until you mentioned it. Ah, I miss the days when different manufacturers made native gear for Traktor. 😢

MojaxxVDJ me too. I always wanted a native V7 for my S8. Hopefully NI unveils new hardware and partnerships with other companies. Then I would buy Pioneer gear besides there headphones.

Loved my 4trak and switched to the s8 also. But numark had this static noise randomly happening it was driving me nuts. I can't wait to see what Traktor has in store for their next gear. They are the best company when it comes to integration with their software!

i still use my 4Trak, got it when it came out, never had a problem with it and still use it today! 4Trak 2 would be the best!

It is. I had a NS6 and traded it in only after testing the NS6ii. I haven't regretted my decision. It's performing great.

Great controller but it looks like numark just moved mixtrack platinum jogs and pitch plus Amx pads and buttons to this model, the level leds are RED?? I don't get that bit, but it's pretty solid all round

I like By Mark a lot. My first controller was the By Mark MIXTRACK EXPRESS. The only issue is if I buy it they will probably come out with NS6 111 as soon as I buy NS6 11.

Its a great controller but with some drawbacks. The crossfader as reported sucks in regards to cutting distance if you want to scratch those beautiful weighted jog wheels from Numark and worse still Innofaders will not fit at all so no upgrade there. Decksaver are refusing to make a lid for the NS6 mk2 and never gave a reason why..which also sucks as this is one of the more road worthy controllers on the market at present..

For those that want a turntablist controller, then made the NS7. The NS6 series gives you a great all around (meaning capabilities) controller that's more portable/com[pact than a NS6. Especially when you look at it's price point.

David Fuller it’s a workhorse of a unit. Bought one from Why Buy New in Colchester (one of best DJ shops around) at a good price. The jogs are Bon- bon! Nice and loud too. In Music have said that an mini innofader won’t fit which is a shame as the jogs literally deserve one!

David Fuller very true, the outputs is what does it for me on the sr2 & it just feels generally better. But who uses 4 channels when they dj? And the second dj is always a great thing. But like needles I don’t share my controller lol

The NS6ii isn't lacking in power by any means. The additional channels come in handy and the extra laptop port is a nice addition at that price point. That's usually reserved for much more expensive controllers.
