Djely Tapa DROM

At the Good Night Showcase at New York’s DROM on January 13, 2023, the Djely Tapa and her band from Montreal were the highlight of the night. With just three musicians from her full band, this daughter of Malian griotte (jelimuso) Kandia Kouyate had the place rocking. Here’s her opening song “Futur,” and a clip from later in the show.
