Way better musicians in the 80s. Yeah 3 of these guys look like Will Ferrell and are totally over cheesing making this lame video but who cares great song! The 1990s hit and all of a sudden most music sucked. You had a few good Ozzy albums and GNR's double Illusion set but really not much after about 92 to look forward to talent wise and composition is still for the most part lame. If you like real music you will like my releases I am dropping this year. Most of the tracks are about 3/4s done and very listenable just not finished. They are not the same but you can tell I grew up listening to great music like this song and it reflects into my work. No lame cut paste copy add more VSTs and edit until it sounds good. Nope... just more real stuff like this just without beating the hook quite so to death!

I would say the 90s were about as good since girls became a bit easier and there was less homophobia, but one advantage of the 1980s was that you were much more free in what you could say. The 1950s would have sucked a bit with all the puritanical stuff.

Every once in awhile I play this and go back to the spring of 1985. Me and my Tim are on the couch watching this video, swearing we'd never love anyone else. And I never did and according to him, we'd still be together had it not been for Michelle Underwood breaking us up. I miss him so much. There's something sad about a one time lost love.

Sad. Things happen for a reason. He may not be the person today that he was in 1985.

Heard this for the first time on a American Top 40 re-run this morning. This goes hard! Although, it's Night Ranger, so that's not really a surprise. lol

80's were great times. That's when MTV was at it's best and the last decade where musical artists were real and talented.
