Must've been a day for transit. First time hearing about this fire. I was on my way to school in the morning (on the C) when a call came in saying there was suspicious activity of an unauthorized person on the tracks ahead of us at Hoyt-Schemerhorn. The A was next to us, and all Manhattan bound service was haulted for like 10 minutes. Great catch btw!

An R143 Orange (M) Train Is Quite Exclusive. They Normally Operate The (L) Train. In 2015, 2 Of Them Got Swapped To Operate On The (J) Train. Also, They Did Operate The (Z) Train. At Least The R160A Orange (M) Trains Are Not A Bad Fit.

xxflamexx flame r160 has the LED strip maps. The r143 doesn't and has a strip map just like the r142 on the number lines. Also I noticed the the doors on the trains where you open to go to the next car are different. Re L train has one door that you slide open while the r160 has like 2 doors that you open from the center.

The R143s were issued in less than a decade ago early 2000's for the L line as I can remember. in the time before the M train received the high technology trains R160 and the MTA is going to have the M line with the R170 but since then while the M is a shuttle on weekends they were using the R143s.
