First of all, thanks for the excellent review. One question: When you turn off the Vision Positioning and Obstacle Sensing, does it just turn off the downward sensors or is all of the obstacle avoidance turned off as well? Thanks.

The obstacle avoidance will stay on but you have to be careful otherwise your drone will bounce off the floor as you are trying to land.

I was trying to decide between the Air 3 and Mini 4 pro... first the Air 3 won, then the Mini 4 pro won... but the Air 3 won again and so did the Mini 4 pro... (DoH!!) So, I ended up buying both. No matter which one you choose, you will be happy... but you will wish you bought the other one (grass is always greener). On the range, both of mine get about 30 - 35 minutes ... so don't expect 45 minutes unless flying inside under laboratory conditions. 30 - 35 minutes us good though. Very VERY happy with both of them. Merry Christmas all.

I feel like you missed the biggest one! The ability to fly the Mini 4 Pro like an FPV drone, making these sharp banks and deep dives, flying around like superman. It shows little who were unsure about getting into FPV to try out without any risk of wasting their money. I'm not sure if the Air 3 got it, I've only seen over video that just talked about the Mini 4.

The quality of life updates are huge and we got new features. The after market care has been great from DJI with these two drones and I’m going to praise that.
