Could you test one thing please?! Let the drone hover autonomously. Walk 200m away. Switch on the cheap RC-N controller but with NO phone connected. Will it connect to the drone?Can you fly back the drone manually to you??

Good, informative and entertaining video as usual. I'm not sure about this new drone though. The Flip looks like a cheap and flimsy imitation product, and not at all like the quality we've come to expect from DJI. Even the little Neo looks more premium. I reckon that buyers would be better off either saving up for the Mini 4 Pro, or saving altogether and get the Neo. I'm glad DJI are continuously innovating, but I just don't get this one.

I think, for only C$300 more, I would choose the Mini 4 Pro Fly More Pkg at Costco Canada. If I had a larger drone such as an Air 3S (which I have), I would still choose the Neo over the Flip because of the price difference.

Great Video as usaual ..... But ohh wow DJI what have you done its not a nice ... I have AIR 3S mini 4pro / mini 3 pro / Neo even the Mavic 2 pro but sadly I wont be adding this one just don't like the look at all and from what I see you most of the features in the Neo.

@ Actually this drone is not up to the level we are used to from DJI. This drone does not have collision sensors. It only has a front sensor to stop in front of the obstacle without turning around it. It is also not small in size even though it folds on itself. I would not think of buying it at this price. It is not worth more than 100 euros.

@@TECHDRONEMEDIAit will sell to the DJI Preppies without a doubt. I like the blade protection, but needs to be up higher like the Mini Series drones. The compact is pretty cool. RID is a must for me. I like this Fold up and it say the Mini 5 Pro had this but it folded up and not down giving some distance off the ground for the propellers to safely takeoff. These 2 bladed propellers are not great for responsive control and being able to upgrade them to a 4 or 5 bladed propeller design would be a nice plus. Thanks for the video. What do you think 🤔?

I don’t understand why they price it almost the same as the mini 4 pro when the mini 4 pro clearly wins ! No remote I.d which means you will have to add more weight! The flip only have front sensors! But the price is $800 too much I would just get the air 3s

​It all depends on what you want to do. This Flip is much safer to fly around people and things. You can get closer proximity. If you are only flying outdoors and at high altitude, I agree the Mini is better option. It will handle wind a lot better too. ​@@TonyHolmes-z9r

DJI Spark relaunch, not a bad thing. Similar features, front IR, palm launch, gesture control etc. I have a soft spot for Spark, my first proper drone. :) Using "without" controller. I had always Spark connected directly to phone just incase, if needed. But gesture controls worked really good on that one. (You didn't need controller in between phone and drone that time, but it gave huge range boost, same as Flip)
