I'd be happy to spend 'Flip' money on Mini 5 Pro accessories. This drone is a neat idea, but, this is definitely NOT a reason for me to spend my Mini 5 Pro money. Maybe if the flip comes as a 'drone only' with no RC for around $299, then I'd think about buying it.

I agree. The manual mode controller adds another dimension to flying the Neo. The Neo's price is $200 as well!

@storyanaksekolah2 Neo doesn't do high winds. Using the manual controller helps Neo fly in higher winds, but nothing too extreme. I haven't tried the Flip yet. My guess is they have similar performance in high wind.

Thanks 😎🙌 heating is amazing, what i don’t like now after months of use is the magnets that holds the glove part when using the hansks. If it was velcro i would give it 10/10. Sizing is perfect

DJI made a mistake by releasing this type to compete with Hoover. I would have preferred that you include the specifications of the DJI Air3s inside the DJI Mini 5 Pro.

It has forward sensing ye so it will stop, but not buypass, and only 2gb of internal so you would want to use a micro sd card 👍

Except the obstacle avoidance only stops the Flip. The Mini 4 Pro will go around obsticles.

No RID and duel props. I like the protection around the Props that would be good for the Mini 4 Pro. The blades need to be up higher like the Mini 4 Pro. The Neo and the Flip are toys 🧸 for preppies. 😮

This is not a Mini 4 Pro replacement. I hope they are working on a future Mini 5 Pro that isn’t the Neo or Flip. What is with the duel prop propellers? Would be much more stable with a 4 or 5 bladed propellers. Like the DJI Neo, this is more a toy and a skip again for me. Sorry DJI.

Great review again! I read somewhere that the Flip is capable of flying fpv with the goggles n3. I know it's not possble for now but do you know if there's going to be an update soon?

I asked DJI about this some days ago and was told it is not compatible and there´s no time frame on when or even if it will be compatible. My guess tho, is that the goggles 3/N3 will be compatible along with the RC Motion 3 in a few months

Definitely The Neo. Love that little guy, hope a Neo 2 or Neo Pro comes out. Put in a better camera with zoom and obstacle avoidance and you have the best.

That is exactly what I hope for. NEO is amazing. We took it home to Europe over Christmas and have been around Australia. It's great. Yes Camera could be better, and the settings for QuickShots should be accessible from the drone and we should be able to safe camera settings (sharpness) even in quick mode. BUT.. who cares all our friends loved the little clips from alps etc... Nobody said "ouch this is sharp, and that image sensor looks tiny"
