Another informative guide, however is there not a way of doing this within the software rather than using a TP program?

With the DJI Hyper-lapse feature contained within the drones software you're limited to around a 10 to 15 second clip. In this video I show you how to make a 30+ second Hyper-lapse clip. Also with the software you need to spend some valuable battery time setting up the waypoints with the drone in the air. You can't pre-plan the hyperlapse feature contained in the software before getting the drone up.
