Yes it works with the cendence remote control also. It gives you more Satellites. I was getting 9 to 12 Satellites so i connected to GPS module and now I'm getting between 17 to 23 Satellites so I definitely highly recommend it for $35 dollars it's definitely worth it.

My question is my new inspire has returned to the remote feature which I’ve tested on the boat and every time the bird returns back to the remote. Is this device any safer if so that is amazing.

Hey B Drones!! Thanks for stopping by bud. I mean yes I've heard stories about the remote etc etc where you're able to set the home point to either remote or take off location of the actual bird. But I'm not 100% certain that if when set to the remote it will continuously update the position every time the remote moves. If you're saying it does then thats great! But why would DJI specifically make this product? I'm not too sure to be honest. Maybe this module is a little more guaranteed I think to come back to the remote, it does literally update it's position every 30 seconds. If you're saying no matter where you're move, the I2 will come back to you then you're golden it sounds like you're golden.

I bought the GPS module as as soon as it came out. About 6 months later I bought the cendence as soon as it came out. I put the original remote away with the GPS module and totally forgot about it than I remembered that I had it I didn't know if it would work with the cendence and soon as I contacted it my Satellites jumped way up. I couldn't believe how great it worked and It was the cheapest thing I ever bought and it was one of the best investments I ever made for the price. I always try to tell everyone I can on KZbin. Hey bud!! Well, sorta but no. The difference is the gps module will update its location automatically (every 30s) vs manually updating via the dji go app.

So I just watched the video and I opened my Inspire 2 menu like you showed and there isn’t a dynamic home point feature on the screen. I am using the crystal sky monitor and would it be different from what you’re showing? Because it’s not where you’re showing it to be. I have home point settings with using the remote as the home point or I can select the actual home point but there isn’t a dynamic home point feature anywhere on there? Is using the remote control as the home point the same thing as using the DJI GPS module? Never mind I figured it out. I have to have the GPS module plugged in before dynamic home point feature comes up on the screen. Stupid question huh?? 😂😂🤪 But I still need to use it if I am in a moving vehicle right? How about when I am not in a moving vehicle? I don’t need to use it then right? Only need it if I wanna get in a moving vehicle huh? Any answer would be appreciated

Hey Phil!! Yes! The GPS module "does" in fact have to be plugged in, in order for the GoApp to recognize it. Oh! And no question is ever a stupid question. :) I only use the GPS module when I primarily shooting from a boat, due to obvious reasons of flying over water. On the occasion I will use it from a moving car on land if the terrain is looking rough and/or will be tracking for many many miles. Thanks so much for stopping by my friend, and happy flying!

I have a question! what is the difference between that tool (GPS) and the option that remain on the remote controller "return to the location point".?

The difference is this will update your remotes location every 30 seconds automatically. The one within the remote only updates it when you physically tell it to every time you move locations. Hope that helps bud.

Even on my Inspire 1 I can choose the home point to be remote controllers current location or original take-off point so what's the difference?

The difference according to Dji is that the GPS Module will consistently update its location “automatically” every 30 seconds. Key word here is automatically, so when you’re on a high production shoot it’ll make it less worrisome for the pilot flying knowing that he doesn’t have to always update his location manually. It is a dope device isn't it? Mine came with like 12 sets of velco lolol. Those cardboard slots were just filled with them :P Good call on the mounting point, that's where I'm going to put mine, and why I was looking for this video in the first place. Cheers! subbed for the dope ass intro hehe
