DJI Inspire 2 Pro FLIP Speed Test 2 Review w/ GARMIN GPS attached Prescott Phoenix AZ

Here is our second speed test with our new DJI Inspire 2 Pro. Our first test only relying on the DJI GO 4 app said we we're doing 80.6 MPH. DJI's new claims are that it will travel at 58 MPH. So where is the discrepancy? To find out we decided to attached our Garmin GPS to the bottom of the Inspire 2, which independently records the top speed at which it travels. The true speed has been revealed!

this is simple the GPS you used is a data loger that only records every 12 seconds the dual GPS in the inspire record every 0.045 of a second. also with the strong winds helping the inspire no wonder it went so fast. there are proven records of the inspire reaching 100 MPH with strong winds. plus i have independently found the inspire 2's GPS system to be accurate to with in 1KMH. DJI GO 4 gives the correct readout always excluding of coarse when you update the inspire 2 but don't update the remote. this can case minor discrepancy of no more then 2.3KMH

The next day with no wind we compared the speed with the Inspire 2 vs a Mercedes c250. When the car was going 60 mph the car was just slightly pulling away from the Inspire 2. When the car was on cruise control at 58 mph. The Inspire 2 was in Sports mode and could not pass the car. SO what do you have to say about that?

Hi, it has been reported that the I2 readout is actually in km'/h while displaying in mph. So your 62 mph is nearly correct for reading 99 km/h... DJI will correct this in the next update I hear.

Interesting report. Where did you read this? We were trying to clarify it for personal use. And also we've seen many videos posted with people asking " 98 mph is that right"? When it's screaming by it's hard to say how fast it's going? So it's been clarified the top speed is correct with what DJI says. Thank you for your input!

hey hey hey plz record the sound of the gimbal form the camera or the whole drone plz. if the camera runnin = recording but dont start it. so we can hear how much noise it still make after rework. want to know that for ground filming with a mic, or later with a osmo handheld... u know what i mean

The readings are wrong from DJI, I can get 60 mph flying with the wind as well......on a P4.

3:10 notice how the GPS only says the inspire 2 has been moving for 0:00 and stopped for 0:01. anyone else see something wrong with that

There are also unacceptable errors in the DJI site. For example, they have distorted, with typical Chinese style, km (the international unit of speed). Probably only in China have this ... Attitude. Easy that this create a new Babylonian chaos. For DJI, km/h must be written: "kph" (does they mean: kilometer per hour?) "k" (that mean x 1000), instead of km? So, 1000 of what? peppers? Maybe they do not have the "/" on their keyboard? In the specific page about Inspire 2, DJI have wrote this: ----------- It goes from 0 to 50mph (80kph) in just 5 seconds and hits a maximum speed of 58mph (94kph) Propulsion：58mph (94kph) max speed ----------- www.dji.com/inspire-2
