Enjoy the aerial view of the West Coast, Singapore. with my DJI Mavic Mini 2 in 4K. Though Mavic Mini is not known for night shoot but just before dawn is the perfect time to capture some excellent shots. You can turn down the overall brightness to make it look darker in post-production. This area is outside the no-fly-zone (NFZ) in Singapore based on OneMap, so drone take-off was permitted. All the shots were taken from a height of 50m or less.

I don't often do that because it looks artificial but sometimes I use noise reduction in FCPX.

I think flying over private property needs some kind of permission..

If you're flying too close to the building which may compromise privacy then yes, you need permission.

Do read about drone laws in Singapore before flying. There are few great apps that let you know about the No Fly Zones (basically 70% of Singapore is NFZ due to nearby airport). But you still have plenty of good places to fly. Follow the apps like OneMap or Flywhere.

You don't need any certification for mini series. However, make sure you follow the rules. OneMap.sg is the app to get the idea whether you're in NFZ or out.

What's the max range u get?

The typical range could be about 7-8 km but you shouldn't go that far in cities. I always keep it in VLOS.

Hi Ankesh... Thanks... You're definitely not allowed too close to the roads and also when it's crowded.. However, as long as your aircraft is in your VLOS and you are outside NFZ, you can fly... Stay connected... Cheers

How far can you before weak signal

Depends on where you're flying... in remote area you can easily go up to 2-3 km however in the city be careful with the wifi interference... You might loose connection even at 100 m if you fly close to a building... cheers

@@marklcz good question.. there's one more thing to keep in mind. You should be away from metals as they might also cause problem with the connection. I didn't try going over 500 meters into the water away from port structures and it was good however if you fly close to them you might feel the issue.

Specs say 4000 m latitude and 500m altitude... you will probably not need that range unless you're flying in mountains... you shouldn't try those range in city because there will be a lot of signal interference. In city, always keep your drone in your sight.... cheers
