thank you very much the antenna talk was really helpful. I was one of those people point the antenna straight toward to the drone
@MrEye4get7 жыл бұрын
Great tips on using the antennas. There are two antennas so you can adjust them differently; not matching. I usually adjust one horizontal to the ground and one adjusted to aim toward the drone. When the drone ascends, the horizontal antenna maints a solid connection.
@ScottDDavis717 жыл бұрын
I was coming here just to ask this question! After i watched the video, I wondered if one antenna could be "up" while the other "out" to get good reception whether you are flying low or high. Thanks!

Thanks for another very informative video. It's Christmas Eve and I will soon be opening my first drone - a Mavic Pro ! I have really enjoyed your instructional videos and this one is another great one. Now the bad news, I live in central Ohio and the temperature is about to start dropping - forecasted to be in the teens to single digits by next Saturday !! So, my initial flights may not be in the near future. Oh well, I'll just watch more videos !! Thanks, Charlie

Another great video, and thanks for help elsewhere. Look forward to the day I can fly it like you can at the beginning. One thing I will say for the UK, I sure do have plenty to film. Within just one hours drive I have three great preserved railway lines running steam trains, plus a few smaller ones, few castles, loads of old country mansions, some available to film turned into golf clubs, or schools or just open to the public. I've got thousands of villages, churches, old Mills, many now turned into homes or shops, antique stores, auction houses, stuff like that. Rivers, lakes, quarries, woods and forests. Ruins of old monasteries. The list is endless. And a bit further a field but still only a few hours drive, beaches, mountains, cliffs, harbours. Yeah, this is right up my street😀

Very useful, well presented tutorial. Can't wait to get a Mavic Pro; annoyingly, here in Australia we have the lowest price I've seen yet;$1199, but the combo is $1799. I'll wait for a good price on the combo. Thanks again; enjoy your channel. Mike in Oz

Use exactly the same C1/C2 configuration as you right now. Just wished you could set them to activate/disable the downward sensors quick and easy (flying alot over moving water and the sensors can really confuse the drone). Great video as always! Nice video. Great tips. I like the auto portrait mode idea. What park is that? I have been looking online for areas here in San Diego that I will be able to fly a Mavic at. Doesn't look good for recreational fliers.

You probably didn't talk about the fifth function of the 5D button because I don't think it can be customized. If you push straight down on the button, it brings up the intelligent flight mode menu. Merry Christmas from a follower in the East County.
@StanCook7 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you talked about the antenna. I'm also an old HAM guy and understand antennas. So many videos swear the antenna should be pointing out. Amazing I have all the buttons sent the same as you except for the auto exposure lock that I am now going to adopt. Salamat Po again and Merry Christmas.
@Spawn4ever7 жыл бұрын
Great video. I just got the Platinum and i will probably use those same settings for my remote. Quick question for you though, why aren't you using the sub cable that comes with the mavic? Isn't it less in-cumbersome to use the one that embedded into the handle? Do gain something else by using the usb port at the bottom of the remote? Thanks for all the info.
