I despised DJI for the longest time, so hesitant because of the lessened data privacy or where and what their proceeds actually contribute to.. After several years of everything but the brand, ive had Anafi(holding onto that one she's staying with me🥰), Couple Fimi X8se20's, various Bebop 3.0, Bebop 2's( holding onto a bb2 power version as well pretty cool for fpv), different mix variations and so many more. I pulled the trigger on the mini2 fly more combo earlier this month and I tell you what, I totally get it now. Once you experience that flyability precision, camera quality and even build quality ime and imo its obvious why everyone can look past any shortcomings or questionable other topics, the really are the best of the industry. Im a customer for life now and will be getting the mini3 soon. Thank you DJI for such incredible products.

I started with a Mini... it was so disappointing that I gave it away; got an Air 2. It was decent but didn't track worth crap. Sold it, got a Skydio 2+. Was VERY disappointed in that thing for too many reasons to go in here; returned it. Now I have a Mini 3 Pro on order. Can't wait!

Great upgrade to the Mini2.. I can see that the pice has upgraded as well. The Mini 3 being under 250grams was supposed to be in the budget drone hobbyist category.. But with the fly-more package DJI is already at about $1000 price tag vs $600 for the Mini2 Fly-more package. I'll wait till prices come down a bit. The Mini3 Pro sure looks like a nice upgrade over the Mini2. Too bad the Mini2 batteries are not compatible with he Mini3.

I'm still waiting for the Air 2S "Pro" but I think I'll get this one for my next trip. I'm impressed with the F/1.7 aperture. I always forget to press the other button when I try to zoom in and out so the dedicated wheel is a good one to have. Looks like you've been pretty busy, Aldryn. Nice comparison of the different consumer DJI drones; excellent presentation as always.

I think it will be an A3 and I’ll be patient. I believe the M2P will be replaced by the A3 with many of the same goodies just better overall since the M2P is 4 to 5 year old technology now. Still is a great drone but with the Mavic 3 released there is no reason to continue upgrading it. Never know though. All wishful thinking but a completely redesigned A3 with 40 mins flight actual flight time, adjustable aperture, side sensors etc. would be amazing if in the $1,600 to $1,800 price range. As I said though, with DJI lately you never know what they throw out there. Enjoy.

I accidentally clicked another video while watching this. The ‘time stamp ’ splits made it easier to find my place. Also, the clarity of speech 🎤/ depth of voice is good, so I am able to listen at 1.75x speed. I almost can listen on 2x speed, but am new to drones, so miss the specs at that speed.

Aperture (F-number) tells how much light the lens can collect. One number difference is roughly double the light gathering quality so if you have the same sensor behind both lenses, the one with smaller F-number will have half the noise. Or you can record with similar quality with half the natural light. Or you can use polarizing filter (which loses half the light) without increasing noise. Bigger aperture (smaller F-number) also allows better bokeh in theory. Given that the camera is pretty small in DJI Mini 3 Pro, the bokeh effects are not that important or need to be simulated in software in any case.
