This is absolutely what I’m looking for. I initially just wanted something small I can throw up to survey my property if I need to or have suspicions to. This is way more impressive than that. This allows me to survey thousands of meters ahead in potentially dangerous areas and if I fly upwards that can be invaluable in me determining escape routes as something like a hiker. It’s more than impressive technology.

It all depends where you are. In hilly or mountainous area or in a forest, you can lose signal in 500m.

Lost mine at 230m and crashed in the water. Walked through a swamp until my neck deep, temp was 14°C lol. Found it after half an hour, send it to a repair guy, he made a whole 30min video on youtube for me showing how fucked it was. Bought a new one a week ago 😅

The fact that there is not much in between you and the drone to disrupt the signal plays a big role in how "far" you can fly and have camera feed. Idk if this would work in a crowded city with many buildings and commercial antenna's for many uses and add signal noise...

@@Tony_33 yea tested mine over open lake as I live on the shore. Think I remember it starting to lose 100% strength a lil after 3km. It was getting dark and forget what the wind was like. Gonna try it during day on nice clear weather next :)
