I really need to take a drone photography class because I have no idea about some of the stuff you're talking about. But this drone is fantastic. Had it for a few months now and I love it.

I nearly bought a Mini 4 Pro before I left for Australia just to be safe, but decided to stick with my Air 3. Had zero issues with customs or TSA traveling with it and caught some nice footage in some high wind environments. For that reason I prefer the Air 3.

I completely agree that the Mini 4 Pro is a fantastic choice for a travel drone. It's small, light, and the battery life is amazing. Being able to stay under the 250g weight limit is a game changer, especially when traveling to places with restrictions Sir.

Great video again mate! I upgraded to the Mini 4 Pro from the Mini 2 and it's an amazing drone no doubt. I also have the Mavic 3 Pro too and find the signal strength I get from the Mini 4 is far superior to the M3P. Such an awesome drone. Only way to improve on it would be to eventually get a 1" sensor but apart from that it's a beast.

Lol, I just got this drone today. The reason I got it is because I am going to Mexico next week and I could not take my mavic 3 pro because of the weight. Great video. Thanks!

True. It I will let you know. I have been to Mexico and all around the EU with my Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 pro. Had no issues what so ever with customs. Not saying it doesn’t happen. But I haven’t had any issues to date. But from a space/weight perspective there is no comparison with the smaller lineups

What the name/product of the high cap battery. Upgrading from a Mavic Mini to a Mini 4 Pro. Would like to include one in my order. Does the drone recognize when it’s gone over the 250g limit (like when a heavier battery is installed) and self-regulate or is that just something you need to be caught doing to worry about.

I bought it a couple of months ago and very satisfied with its transmission performance and camera quality. What I really like is now it can shoot in 10bit HLG, finally I can upload HDR10+ videos on my channel. I hope future action cameras can also shoot in HLG. Still learn to color correct an HLG footage though, any tips on it?

I can’t believe I’m still using a Mavic pro and Mavic mini 1. Maybe I will consolidate and get the next mini. It’s hard. A lot of travel places I find are a bit sketchy for drone flight of any weight. And every year we lose fly space in Singapore. I may just give it up
@VirtousStoic5 ай бұрын
I hope they migrate some festured from the air to the next model of the mini. And night lights, yes it shortens battery life but good to have, and handle wind better. Fantastic drone though.

mini 4 pro is basically only drone you need, anything bigger must offer some really amazing benefits and the air 3 just doesn't offer enough to justify the size and weight. The video quality is identical (literally same camera) on the air 3, but you get an additional camera. Until you get to something that actually offers real DLog, there is not a huge upgrade in quality. I hate dlog-m, hlg is a lot better, and also 10 bit, and lets you easily match footage. I recently, from my apt, flew my mini 4 pro 4+ kilometers away to get video of our office building to help out the marketing dept. The range is just amazing, and the video quality is perfect. They were super happy with the quality. Then someone else asked me to help out with a project where they are putting a sign on a building, i was able to live stream another office building so they could discuss sizing and location, again without leaving my apt. I view the Air 3 as a downgrade...

Have you ever had the mini 4 overheat? as I live in 40 to 45 degrees C°/ 114°F heat (Spain) and I do a lot of aerial panoramas in a sphere so the drone is in one spot for a while. If it overheats while takin0g shots this maybe an issue. If this maybe an issue should I choose the Air 3?
@FlytPath5 ай бұрын
I get a heat warning if it’s just sitting on a table on for a while. But goes away once I move the drone

Hey, Cecret Lake and Snowbird aren't in Mexico. Think on this. Between new DJI products, and instead of tripod, chargers, and camera bag reviews, think of outlining and presenting a video project. San Diego must have a lot of interesting sights. You have shown the library, temple, and coastline. I understand the zoo, sea world, and docked battleships are a few local wonders. How about using your skills to show your plan to capture such wonders. (Even a great hotel.) What time of day. What drone is best for the project. When aerial captures are best. When ground captures are best. What tools: point of interest, hyperlapse, track, spotlight, 1x, 3x, 7x, elevation, speed, follow mode, first-person view . Shows the techniques of making the great video from the start. Done buying, still flying. Showing latitude and longitude would be a nice touch for those wanting to see the same wonders. Terrific effort on your channel. Carry on.

Just low profile in general, no matter where you go. Having a smaller and quiet drone makes it easier to travel and fly.

@jimothy42725 ай бұрын
You don’t need to have the front/head LED’s on at night. In this case, the Mini 4 Pro does not have those, so you’re saying the Mini 4 Pro would not be able to fly at night because of that. But thats not true. You only need an anti-collision strobe light visible from at least 3 miles on top of the drone. It needs to be active during the whole flight, and needs to be attached when it is civil twilight or nighttime. Civil twilight, according to the FAA, is defined as 30 minutes before official sunrise, and 30 minutes after official sunset. In other words, it’s basically dawn and dusk. Nighttime is everything in between.
