DJI Mini 4 Pro Cruise Control is an autopilot feature that let you set the control sticks on the DJI remote controller the way you want to fly and then when you activate the cruise controler of the DJI Mini 4 Pro the drone will continue fly accoring to how the ticks on the remote was whenever you eneblade the crusie controller.
In this video i will show you how to use the cruise controller of the DJI Mini 4 pro and also how to setup the DJI RC 2 to be able to use the cruise contoller feature of the DJI Mini 4 Pro.

This is a good primer on the Cruise Control Feature. I appreciate that you covered multiple stick inputs. Did you know that the "Update" feature, while similar to automobile systems, allows adding ONE ADDITIONAL MOTION at a time? Works like this: If cruise is set and flying forward, you can add; JUST some left yaw, tap the assigned button, and update adds one additional parameter. Next, add some "right roll" with right stick -tap assigned button "Updated" adds JUST that input. Its cumulative, adding one additional stick input at a time. The only exception is adding a stick input that is already being used - such as 70% throttle, when it already is applying 50%. In this case it REPLACES or SWAPS one input for another. Dont get me started on SUBTRACTING inputs. Ive already overanalyzed this! Thanks as always!

Also - this is slightly off subject, but waypoints can be configured to simulate dual operator mode, as avalon Inspire using 2 controllers. * Waypoint Mission Settings: * ALL WP's Set Camera Action: * Heading * Gimbal Angle * Zoom To: MANUAL Allow waypoints to fly the aircraft. You have full control of the camera including HEADING. One Caveat: Changing heading during autonomous flight will reduce or eliminate Obstacle Avoidance. This is a powerful technique, but stay aware of diminished OA when yawing an aircraft that has OA SENSORS being rotated away from objects in the flight path. In laymans terms, keep line if sight or you could KERPLUNK YOUR AIRCRAFT.

Hi Matt love your videos I own a Mavic Pro Platinum and thinking of buying the mini pro 4 the video on ND Filters was very interesting motion blur etc a thing I never use to be interested in but now all this fps double your shutter speed wow Im hooked everybody seems to be colouring in post no sounds a bit complicated to me you have opened my eyes on the functions of the mini pro 4 and persuaded me on buy in the mini pro 4 combo thanks Matt. As far as I know, it’s not possible to transfer the DJI care refresh from one unit to another.

I was in this situation 2 weeks ago. Got Mini 3 and Care Fresh plan . 2 days later decided to go with Mini 4 Pro. I returned Mini 3 and got 4P. Called DJI to explain this situation and hopefully they can refund me the Care plan for Mini 3 and promised them I will buy a new one for Mini 4 P. They approved my request without hesitation and gave me a full refund right away. I of course kept my promise and purchased the new plan for Mini 4P once I received it.

It’s just to switch it back when you need it or assign C2 :)

Absolutely. Just set in cruise control and then control the camera.

Absolutely. You can focus on other things than flying for a moment :)

On cruise control can you turn the GIMBEL up down? Or just zoom in and out ? How much camera movement do you actually have?

I actually tried that in the middle / end of the video and you can manually adjust the angle of the gimbal as well as the zoom. But you can not include those movements in the autopilot. You have to do those camera actions manual while the drone is flying in cruise control mode.

Yes and No. Not if you are flying manually and cruise control is just an automatic manual flight. If you are using for example auto tracking there is no sport mode. It’s tracking in the same speed in C/N/S see my auto track video. So that’s why it’s working in this mode even if S is selected.

Did you run into issues when exporting video? I just bought a mini 4 pro, used the same micro sd card from my old Mavic Air 2, and when i plug in my Mini 4 Pro into my Mac, it doesn’t detect a device for importing videos. I’ve tried inserting the SD card into an sd reader, then into my Mac, and still no go.

Yes, direct from usb-c of drone to usb-c of iPad Pro. I did it that way yesterday after my first mini 4 flight. Then open your files app.
