DJI MINI 4 PRO IS OCUSYNC 4 REALLY BETTER?

Hi jim great shots of the ships mate 👍see how your gimble dropped at 5:25 mine is always doing that with the drone tweaks app. i just put it down to my controller playing up now and again....interesting ! also ime thinking of getting the min 4 would you say the occ 4 is good enough signal without getting it into FCC mode. i dont think its even possible is it ?

Cheers buddy you can get fcc I'd you buy the rcn2 controller on the mini 4, but the signal from the rc2 is well good enough, in my opinion while I have not been flying miles away I have had no issues with signal on this controller

Yeah, I know buddy the amount of controllers I have is a joke. Hopefully, florin at drone tweeks can jail break the rc controllers at some point. I never even gave that a thought when I bought the mini 4 Pro. My rcn1 is not compatible, but you never know with dji, maybe 1 day

Ardrossan is a great place for testing. Good test Jim I have flown the Mini 3 Pro well beyond Horse Isle with no loss of signal at all. Like you I'm using drone tweaks in Mini 3 Pro RC-N1 FCC. Glad to see you caught the ferry coming in. Excellent upload Jim

Cheers, buddy was a better flight than today. The wind at dalquarran House literally blew the mini 4 away. lol it could not hold position in normal mode weather forecast has a lot to answer for

I will go back next summer when weather is better I had been in ayr picking up a painting so thought why not carry on I put the avata in the castle and I was getting wind warnings inside the wind was mental

great stuff, people really find this kinda stuff useful. the thing about signals is the quality and strength information should be seperate, duno if they are but if you get a red bar on quality you should be more worried than the signal getting weaker. red bar on quality usually means there rf interference about. ps. did i see something in the water by the wee boat?

Cheers buddy yeah the rc 1 only has internal antenna where as the new rc2 has them outside again. I believe it makes a difference, but the new ocusync 4 is way better much stronger signal

Not much difference between 2 3 and 4. Sounds like ur not in fcc mode though so doeant really push it anyways

No, we do not fly fcc in the uk. Obviously, that's a much better signal, but the ocusync 4 is definitely much better and stronger for us in ce mode 👍
