Out of the 20 30 videos ive watched. I still have 1 question. Can you make permanent changes to the default quick shots using app. So later, when used WITHOUT controller it uses the NEW distance settings?

Hey Chris, apologies for getting back to you late. I have tested it and I can confirm that the default quick shots do keep what ever preset setting you would have set for that mode. I even removed the battery, and closed the mobile application and then restarted the drone but didn’t open the DJI fly more application, and yes, it kept the settings I had set for that mode before removing the battery.

Just got mine today, as the FlyMore package. Had a HS720G which was terrible... the Neo is amazing and soooo stable even indoors the HS would just go anywhere.

Yes. It’s on the right hand side of the preview screen when in manual mode. Just tap and the gimbal comes up.

My neo crashed and broke beyond repair yesterday, first day of flying. I have been droning years now with magic and phantom. It was unusual. I selected all functions and then went for the custom and went for helix, it just went berserk, palm liftoff and 5 seconds of fly off and hard into a sand pit 10 meters away which made it unflyable even after cleaning. Today im in contact with my local DJI and hope I can get a new one. Fingers crossed.

No the video is raw 4k 30FPS coming from the DJI neo un edited. The drone by default records in that video resolution and fps. If you are viewing on a smart phone, it’s ok, if you view this video on a bigger screen like a tv then you will for sure see a difference

I’m not sure. I think if You can download the fly more DJI application on the tablet, then it should work. Because all the drone does is create a hotspot for you to connect on and control it using the fly more application.

Hi…I’m a beginner and buying my 1st drone …what can I buy between dji neo, dji mini 3, dji mini 2 se… mainly my purpose would be capture few moments when I go trip with family and friends….how is dji neo camera quality when compared with dji mini 3 and dji mini 2 se?

Hey, I think If camera quality is your main priority, go for the Mini 3 as it will have the best 4k video quality and better low light quality. If you look at my last video on the Neo, you will see that I’m the night, it’s not the best. But for something affordable and easy to use, the Neo or Mini 2 SE are great choices too. Why not buy all 3 and try them out to see which one works best for you and then return the other 2? DJI offers a 14 day return window if I’m not mistaken.

You can charge it using the usbc port on the back of it or if you got the combo with the charging hub, then you can just use the hub to charge the batteries
