Thank you, Terry. The NEO is so much fun to fly; I can't wait for its next iteration with an improved 4K/60FPS camera. Indeed, the birds know the best spots to chill out, and I was happy the NEO didn't bother them much.

Great flight, it’s been a long time I flew there. Too bad the jet boat that rides the rapids didn’t make an appearance. BTW, I to removed the prop guards on the Neo.

Thank you, Nick. I was surprised to see surfers in that area. I thought they surf only over the vague à Guy, but there are also other areas. I also removed the guards, making it lighter and it can fly about one more minute apparently.

On this first foray with the DJI NEO over the perilous Montreal's Lachine Rapids, I discovered a group of courageous Kayakers. In future forays, I'll search which Rapids Waves the Surfers use.

Hello, Peter. There are instances where I flew between 1.3 and 2 km away. It could go further, but battery life and wind speed limit it.
