This channel sold the neo to me. The Avata would have been the obvious choice but im scared of just wrecking it when starting out. With just a 200 bucks price point it was kind of a no brainer for me but i was scared its not powerful enough to do anything besides flying straight. while i know there is a lot of skill involved, im now confident its not the drone but bad pilots or biased opinions from bigger systems that kind of gave the neo the bad reputation. Its gonna be my first fpv experience. Thanks for showing us what this thing is capable off.

What are your thoughts on the gimbal guard you have added? Do you think it is necessary if you crash often in manual mode?

Yes, in some cases, if the crash is hard enough, it can damage the camera.

I crashed mine and the gimbal got all crooked and bent, I was lucky and managed to put it back into place, so for sure if you're practicing, keep it on! :)

Amazing flying, awesome video. I'm just starting out in FPV with the Neo and am finding inverted flight a real problem - the Neo just freaks out and auto-stabilises itself. I was starting to think it wasn't possible until I watched your video - I guess I just need to get better!

Those rates work really well with the neo I was wondering why I can't Acro my neo at all my rates were way to high, I can't wait to get my avata 2 back too see if these rates help me Acro better with that as well
