The term "vlog" was first used in 2002, according to Merriam-Webster and the Oxford English Dictionary. 😆🤣 Still, the Neo is pretty impressive for $199. Maybe the "soon to be released" Air 3S will incorporate the enhanced tracking capabilities. 🤞

the DJI NEO can have Active FocusTrack if you use the DJI RC-N3 because of its onboard processing. the phone is limited due to battery and processing cycles .. also being part of the experience. its important for them to make sure they dont kill your phones battery or over heat it or slow down its response so it offloads it... making this a great starter to allow you to not have to get a controller and a new drone if you wanted something more capable. you would just need to upgrade the drone having already a good controller. you could also ways get this and go with a higher end active FocusTrack feature ready controller.

do you need the dji mic2 rx and tx to use it with the NEO or will just the tx work? I noticed the action5 vlog kit comes with just the mic2 tx.

The height and far setting is still way way way to close! Cmon dji update the settings for further autonomous tracking! A lot of the camera shots don’t even look like a drone because it’s to close and to low in height! Fix ASAP

If it falls behind you, trust me, you will notice by the lack of crazy noise. I don't think the so called "path tracking" can be implemented by firmware. It is probably an AI thing of the Neo's SOC. So, yeah, don't expect it in any other current DJI drone. For sure it will be in the DJI Mini 5 Pro.

I'm being told that even the NEO is not legal in the USA?! What do you know about it? Do you need a Flight 107 to use the Neo and upload to a monetized KZbin channel?

Last I heard the neo doesn't have a Remote Id, which is needed along with your part 107 certificate to be used in a commercial setting. The FAA does see yt as commercial most of the time. You can buy inexpensive remote IDs and attach them, holy stone has one.
