DJI O3 Air Unit + iPhone = FPV Drone Streaming with Goggles 2

Seems to be a lot of misinformation out there about this particular feature, I hear and see people say it's a missing feature all the time, as if this isn't something you can do with O3. So yeah, I thought I would clear up the confusion, show how to use it and clear up some confusion around the O3 air unit and FPV drones in particular. Also, keep in mind this can be output via hdmi dongle, airplay'd or screen mirrored or recorded or just about anything else you can think of once it's streaming on the phone.
I am going to take this phone video output and do something totally different with it next week, so stay tuned.

I’m looking into getting these goggles soon, but I was wondering if you had the battery AND your phone plugged in, or is it one or the other?

One or the other. Also if you plug the dongle in the other way it will merely try to charge from your phone.

Any idea if you can use the DJI air unit directly to a phone? if you didn't have the goggles?

@@808TRK Thanks for the comment, I'm starting to come to the same conclusion. DJI goggles... then the cable to a screen. Guess I need to buy a new pair of goggles.
