"Sometimes is not buying at all." Wise words and very needed in this world. I have been guilty of buying things just to throw them into a box just a few weeks later. This DJI 5 has been tempting me but I'm always more into photos than video. My mind tries to trick me "if you buy it you'll start doing more videos", "it can also be used for photos", "you can sell it if you don't use it". But I've been down that road before and that's what has stopping me from buying it. I'm scared that I'm still watching videos about it, though.

If you are not a creative person then any device is not going to make you one, I've bought expensive cameras before now hoping to take those really great shots only to end up disappointed, yes you should borrow a gimbal first.

Do you have the info how strong DJI OM 5 1/4"mount? Is it strong enough to use on bike and not smooth road? If there is a metal base under the plastic then it may be good. I tried Zhiun Smooth 4 and it broke on third or fourth bump.

Yeah, I wish I had waited. Not really impressed. There are a few things I use out for. It does have some cool features. Overall, I don’t feel I got that much for my money. The app is more useful than the gimble/stick itself.

You use the magnetic clamp keep it once on the phone smack middle, and just use the magnetic mount to setup.

Cool video . I have the Osmo 2 and I used for moving time laps . the stabilisation you have in the new iPhone is very grate for every day shot . And 80 % of user are filming vertical because of Tik Tok and rune the video shot because of that . I saw people buy a 1500$ iPhone and not heaven no they can put there phone landscape mode or horizontal !!! So maybe next video Can you show people how to film the right way with a 1500$ iPhone . Thank you good job

Good conclusion! Few years ago I bought DJI Osmo Mobile 2. I used it twice - just for fun. I borrowed it once to my friend. And it has been unused since then. Most of us don't need smartphone gimbal.

Ok guys, i've got a problem with my OM 5 - gimball goes from vertical to horizontal after 90* letf/right tilting, but when its horizontal the trick didn't work and I cannot make it go vertical again. I have to unclip the phone, turn gimball off, then click phone and turn it on to go back to vertical...

Have the iPhone 13pro and the dji gimbal and have to say the gimbal does a better job than the the built in gimblal .Filmic pro app in cinematic mode stabilisation is amazing but does have a bit of a lag in preview while recording

The only things i dont like about it is that it only turns 90 degrees to right and 90 degrees to left. So if you wanna switch filming you between the front and the back cameras you always have to take off the phone from the holder and turn it around manualy… also the up and down tilt is a bit low…

Until I bought the DJI OM5, I did not know that it has such a good application for editing with music for the price. It is convenient because before I transfer the material to the computer, or rather before I get home, the material assembled with the copyrighted music is on social media. The program is very intuitive and easy to use. The biggest surprise comes from AI, who edits the movie himself in a dozen or so seconds. I use something to extend the gimbal and at the moment it is a photographic tripod. It gives beautiful shots from the height of the feet.

@@piastpluk Cześć! Dziękuję! Przynajmniej mogę spróbować :-) Poważnie myślę nad patykiem do tego gimbala ale takim dłuższym ze 4m albo 6m można by ciekawe ujęcia w skyteparku porobić. Symulując drona a bezpiecznie dla otoczenia. Już widziałem kłótnie o latanie nad ludźmi i ekipa się tłumaczyła "ale my tu film kręcimy" to możemy wszystko w domyśle. Miłego dnia!
